  • Add a Telegram destination

In this tutorial, you will add one Telegram Notification destination.

    Time needed: 10 minutes

    Before you start

    Make sure:

    • You are logged in to Wabot.
    • You have the Telegram chat or channel that should receive alerts.

Treat Chat IDs as private. Confirm the destination before you turn forwarding on.

    1. Open Integrations

On the left menu, click Integrations.

    2. Open Telegram Notification

    Find Telegram Notification.

    Click Settings.

    3. Add a destination

    Click Add New.

Enter a name you will recognise, such as Sales alerts.

Add at least one Telegram Chat ID. Use Get Chat ID if the dialog shows it.

    Click Save.

    Make sure it worked

    This tutorial worked when:

    • The new destination appears in the Telegram list.

    If it didn’t work

    Get Chat ID does nothing

Ask the person who owns the Telegram chat to send you the Chat ID. Do not guess.

    You saved the wrong chat

Open Settings again. Edit or delete that destination before you turn forwarding on.

    Before you start

    Make sure:

    • You are logged in to Wabot.
    • A developer asked for a sample. Most shop owners can skip this page.

Keep tokens on a server. Do not paste them in chat, a website, or a public file.

    1. Open REST API

On the left menu, click REST API.

Or follow Open the REST API console if you want the full steps.

    2. Pick the account

Select the connected WhatsApp account the integration will use.

    3. Leave V4 webhooks alone

V4 Automation webhook triggers are Coming Soon.

    • You opened REST API, or
    • You confirmed V4 webhooks are Coming Soon.

Ask the workspace owner. Do not share someone else’s token.

    Before you start

    Make sure:

    2. Find WooCommerce or WordPress Plugin

Find the WooCommerce or WordPress Plugin card.

    3. Open the matching Notifications tutorial

    Make sure it worked

    This tutorial worked when:

    • You found the WordPress or WooCommerce card, or
    • You opened the matching Notifications install page.

    If it didn’t work

      • Forms: Formidable Forms, Fluent Forms submissions
      • Users: new registration, password reset
    4. Customize message templates using placeholders like {customer_name}, {order_id}, {total}.
    5. Save.

    WooCommerce Notifications

    Common templates:

    • New Order: “Hi {customer_name}, terima kasih! Pesanan #{order_id} berjumlah RM{total} telah diterima.”
      • Shipped: “Pesanan #{order_id} telah dihantar. Tracking: {tracking_number}”
      • Completed: “Pesanan #{order_id} telah selesai. Terima kasih kerana membeli dengan kami!”

    Form Submissions

    1. Install the respective form plugin.

    3. Map form fields to the message template.
    4. Every submission triggers a WhatsApp message to the customer.
